Rector’s Welcome Speech for freshmen of the University of Tuzla

 

Dear colleagues and dear students,

Today, you are becoming members of the academic community of the University of Tuzla. You are facing a new chapter of life, new opportunities and new challenges.

This is a challenging time for all of us, because of the pandemic, which has started to become our daily life and requires us to take more responsibility and a new way of behaving.

I am sorry that I do not share this solemn moment with you in our University Hall, but your deans, your professors and assistants will introduce you to the world of science and new knowledge.

You have many reasons to look forward to a new beginning. Be persistent, believe in yourself, use the opportunities and possibilities provided by study departments and faculties that you have chosen.

Follow your dreams and be the one who will build a better future for yourself and for all of us with your work.

Dear students, I want you take the road of learning, knowledge, tolerance, freedom of thought and action.

We, your teachers and assistants, but also all the staff of University of Tuzla, are here to help you along the way.

Be responsible, preserve the health of your colleagues and the health of your family.

I wish you success during your studies, good health and happiness.
